9x12" charcoal drawing on paper. Created as a triptych about body image particularly in women, this work displays the side profile of a stomach. It reaches out to those women who may have been influenced one way or another by society to look at themselves and their bodies all too often. Body dysmorphia is real, and I wanted to shed light on these issues with this triptych, reaching women who may struggle with the same issues and knowing that no matter what others says, your body and your confidence is in your own power.

This piece belongs to someone who understand the importance of celebrating their imperfections.
